2 février : Journée de la vie consacrée ----- 2 de Febrero : Día de la Vida Consagrada ------------- Day of Consecrated Life
En 1997, Jean-Paul II
instituait la journée de la vie
consacrée. Celle-ci avait trois but, selon lui:
Rendre grâce à Dieu pour
le don de la vie consacrée "qui
enrichit et réjouit l'Eglise par la multiplicité des charismes…",
mieux connaître cette vocation comme étant "celle de n'appartenir qu'à Dieu Seul", et "de garder vivant la forme historique de vie
assumée par le Fils de Dieu quand il est venu sur cette terre"…,
permettre aux religieux et aux religieuses de "prendre conscience de leur mission incomparable dans l'Eglise pour la
vie du monde".
En ce jour où nous
célébrons la présentation de Jésus au temple, les "consacrés", et
parmi eux, les Frères, inspirés par le don radical du Christ à son Père et aux
hommes, souhaitent redire en leur cœur leur volonté de donner leur vie comme Jésus, et de tout abandonner pour marcher à la suite du Fils unique, leur
Frère : "Me Voici, je viens faire ta volonté".

En 1997, Juan Pablo II instituyó
el Día de la Vida Consagrada. Según
él, tenía tres objetivos :
Dar gracias a Dios por el don de
la vida consagrada “que enriquece y
alegra a la Iglesia con sus múltiples carismas…”, conocer mejor esta
vocación como aquella que no pertenece
más que a Dios Solo” y “mantiene
viva la forma histórica de vida asumida por el Hijo de Dios cuando vino a esta
tierra”…, y que permite a los religiosos y religiosas “tomar conciencia de su incomparable misión en la Iglesia para la vida
del mundo”.
En este día en que celebramos la
Presentación de Jesús en el Templo, los “consagrados”, y entre ellos los
Hermanos, inspirados por el don radical de Cristo al Padre y a los hombres,
reiteran en su corazón la disposición de entregar su vida como Jesús, y dejar
todo para seguir los pasos del Hijo Único, Hermano suyo. “Aquí estoy, vengo
para hacer tu voluntad”.
