PREPARER LE CHAPITRE PAR LA PRIERE... PREPARAR EL CAPÍTULO POR LA ORACIÓN... LET US PRAY FOR THE GENERAL CHAPTER...
It is in
less than 6 months that the General Chapter will be held in Rome. It is time to
get ready. Remember that it is not enough to say: “We have always done that” to be sure of doing what God is calling
us to do. For, to be faithful, one must not be afraid to be creative. And it is
often the young people who help us. The Pope reminds us that we have a great
responsibility in the way we live our vocation: “The vocation is a gift that we have received from the Lord, who has
looked at us and loved us (cf Mk 10:21), calling us to follow Him in the
consecrated life, but it is also a responsibility for the one who has received
this gift. With the grace of the Lord, each of us is called upon to assume in a
responsible way the personal commitment of his own human, spiritual and
intellectual growth, and at the same time maintain the flame of his vocation,
implying that in turn we always have our gaze fixed on the Lord, always paying
attention to walking according to the logic of the “Gospel”, without ever
yielding to the criteria of worldliness, so many times the great infidelities
begin with small drifts or distractions, and in this case it is also important
to make ours St. Paul’s exhortation: It is the hour now for you to awake from
sleep(Rom 13:11).“ It is time to act responsibly in our own response, and
in decisions to be made for the whole Congregation. Let us pray for the General
Chapter. Let us pray Mary by the Rosary. Let us pray together with the prayer
of the Chapter that everyone has received. Let us pray the Spirit. He
listens to us.
