JOYEUX NOEL - FELIZ NAVIDAD - MERRY CHRISTMAS
aide.
On this Feast of Christmas, let us take a few words from the Pope, pronounced recently: "Christmas is the feast of faith in the Son of God who became man ... Christmas is the feast of faith in hearts that turn into a manger to receive it, in souls that allow God to sprout, from the trunk of their poverty, the offspring of hope, charity, and faith. ". We can therefore wish each other to have in us this faith, great as a grain of mustard, so that it becomes a beautiful tree in the branches of which the "little ones", whom God loves, can come to rest. The Pope continues: "Christmas also reminds us that a faith that does not make us grow is a faith that must grow ... a faith that does not upset us is a faith that must be upset." There arise a lot of questions for us. Does our faith make us grow in hope, in charity? Does it make us more open, better for others? Does it give us joy? If so, continue to nourish it with prayer and charity. Otherwise, it's high time to wake her up. The Child Jesus of the manger will help us, if we ask him. As the shepherds, with joy and humility, let us go to meet him and ask for his help.
